(Hudson, NH) – For three decades Global American has been an innovator of embedded computing solutions for industrial, government, healthcare and the military. Headquartered for all 30 years in southern NH, 25 of those years in the same building, Global American employs 13 people with eight staff members who have been there for more than 10 years.

Global American was founded by Nizar Jhaver and grew the company by establishing relationships with some of the largest and most respected IPC Manufacturers in Taiwan and China. Global American now represents more than 10 overseas factories and manufacturers, and counts thousands of companies as its clients – among them Fortune 500 and Process Control, Aerospace and Biotech giants. In 2010, Jhaver retired, leaving his daughter, Leah Walsh, in charge of all company operations. Walsh has seen a 50 percent increase in sales and continues to lead the company to steady growth and success.

Much of their success comes from employees and their relationship with customers.

“The people who work here are the best,” said Walsh, President of Global American.

“Everyday I get to come to work with members of my extended family. And my father left such a solid company with good core values to build on and ingrained in me to always operate with integrity most of all.”

Global American has a loyal customer base, with many of them buying products for 20 years. Walsh says that all customers have a dedicated representative who knows each product customers buy. Walsh handles all customer issues herself.

“It’s a different way of doing business than most of our competitors who sell on their website with no personal interaction,” she said.

“We consider ourselves partners, not just order takers.”

Today, as Global American celebrates 30 years, they are redefining what it means to be a provider of embedded computing solutions offering personalized solutions and support. The embedded hardware industry is constantly changing and evolving; becoming increasingly more challenging with the Internet of Things forcing lower prices.

“We have been building on the years of experience and we understand our customers and know this industry like no other company,” said Walsh.
