Be it Edge computing or IoT, you want rugged PCs that can perform under pressure. Acrosser’s products are perfect for the job, and we will be partnering with them to bring these computers to our customers.

AAD-W480A: A Powerful PC for AI and Edge Computing

AI-based software has become quite practical in many commercial applications, but deploying them can prove to be a challenge. This is because AI tools require a discrete graphics card to function, which is usually beyond the capability of most embedded computers.

That’s where the AAD-W480A comes in. Built on the W480 Intel chipset, it can accommodate an Nvidia RTX 30 series GPU.

This is combined with a 10th Gen Intel Core processor and 64GB of DDR4 RAM to give smooth performance in demanding AI applications. In terms of interface, you get multiple high-speed USB 3.2 ports, with two PCIe slots for expansion.

In addition to an AI or Edge computing platform, the AAD can also serve as an autonomous driving controller, running through an in-vehicle power ignition system with an operating range of 9-55V.

AIV-TGH7B: Specialized In-Vehicle System

While the earlier model we looked at could also be deployed in vehicles, most such applications do not require AI or graphics card support. What we instead need is a durable PC that can withstand the vibrations of a moving vehicle and yet work properly.

The AIV-TGH7B is Acrosser’s solution to this puzzle. Mounted in a compact chassis with fanless cooling, the AIV is perfectly suited for tricky deployments like a passenger information computer or digital signage.

Powered by the latest 11th Gen Intel processors, the system is capable of handling complex workloads, with better image processing as well thanks to Intel’s new integrated Iris Xe graphics. You get the ability to further customize the board according to your needs with multiple M.2, SATA, and mini PCIe slots.

AES-EL6KA: A Secure IoT Computer

In contrast to the other two systems we have seen so far, an IoT computer needs efficiency and a small form factor over power. The AES-EL6KA is designed to fit into this niche, with an extremely low TDP of just 10W and a tiny footprint.

This does not mean that it is lacking in performance either. With an Intel Elkhart Lake processor and 32GB of DDR4 memory, this tiny PC is ready to take on any computing tasks in an industrial setting.

It can even power dual 4K displays, making it a great choice for driving digital signage or HMI (Human Machine Interface) applications. On the security front, the device comes with TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module) installed, safeguarding it from even firmware-level attacks.

Which of These Systems Is the Best Choice for You?

Most embedded applications today require small yet powerful computers that can perform their tasks with low maintenance. For this, you need embedded PCs with the latest chipsets and efficient design, leveraging fanless cooling to keep the power draw and the failure rate low.

Acrosser’s offerings fit this bill perfectly, giving industrial customers the right balance between performance and utility. From the GPU-equipped AAD-W480A to the small and efficient AES-EL6KA, there is a perfect system for every use case.

The AIV-TGH7B toes to the middle, giving you the latest 11th-Gen processor with powerful integrated graphics with a rugged chassis that thrives in harsh outdoor environments or even moving vehicles. To this end, it also comes with the capability to interface smoothly with vehicle ignition systems.

So, the perfect PC for you would be the one that best suits your application. If you are unsure, you can always contact our experts at Global American to advise you on the best board for your needs.
