The Importance of Prototyping

Posted on April 25, 2023

When buying systems at scale, simply ironing out the required specifications isn’t enough. Until you have tested the system on the field, you cannot be assured of its performance.

And that’s where Prototyping comes in.

What is Prototyping?

Here at Global American, we follow a seven-step process for the purchase of embedded systems. And a key step of this process is prototyping.

Once a client has communicated their requirements (including budget and size limitations), our team gets working on a set of prototypes. The idea is to give you a feel for how the system will perform and see if it matches up to your expectations before you commit to an order.

To this end, we provide prototypes for up to one week of testing without any additional cost, letting you comprehensively test the system at peak workloads. Any issues found during this stage can be easily ironed out in the final product, saving everyone involved a lot of time and effort.

How Much Will It Cost?

Typically, prototyping is part of a complete consultation process that ends with the delivery of the final product. But to help give you a perspective on how we work, we are offering a free prototype during the month of May*.

You can test out the prototype to your satisfaction, trying out its capabilities at your intended application. Of course, the prototype is just the first step – the final product will be engineered and quality tested to overcome any deficiencies in the prototype.

So, if you are looking to buy industrial computers and wondering if you will get your money’s worth, contact Global American and try out a free prototype. No better way to choose your PC besides hands-on testing.
